DEODORIZED CUPUAÇU BUTTER is an edible vegetable butter obtained from the seeds of the Amazonian fruit "Cupuaçu" (Theobroma grandiflorum). The seeds are selected, roasted, peeled, mechanically pressed with subsequent filtration and deodorization (removal of odors). Cupuaçu butter contains omega 9 (oleic fatty acid) and has a lower quantity of saturated fatty acids and a higher quantity of monounsaturated fatty acids than cocoa butter. These characteristics provide a creamy and smooth texture to the butter.
