COCOA BUTTER is a natural product of plant origin obtained from the seeds of the cocoa tree (Theobroma grandiflorum). The seeds are carefully harvested, fermented, sun-dried and then mechanically pressed, after which they undergo a filtration process to ensure purity. Cocoa butter is known for its rich composition of fatty acids, including stearic acid, palmitic acid and oleic acid. Unlike many vegetable fats, it is solid at room temperature, melting smoothly when heated. This unique lipid profile gives cocoa butter its unique properties, providing a creamy texture and a delicately buttery flavor to the final products.
