Caramel Syrup SF is a caramel-colored syrup with high color intensity. The presence of reducing sugars in the syrup, in combination with amino acids present in the products to which it is applied, favors the Maillard reaction during heating, imparting color and aroma to the products. In addition to being used as a browning agent, it can also be used as a humectant, preventing hardness and brittleness in baked goods, biscuits, bakery products, etc.

Caramel Syrup SF adds shades to products, ranging from caramel to dark brown.
