Concepta Ingredients Presents Its Pet Food Product Line at FIAI

Company Offers Solutions that Make Up Food Products and Provide Various Benefits to Animal Health

São Paulo, May 2017 – A business unit of the Sabará Group specialized in natural and technological solutions for the food, beverage, animal nutrition, and veterinary pharmaceutical industries, Concepta Ingredients participates for the first time in the International Agroindustry Fair (FIAI), held on May 10 and 11 at Expo Dom Pedro in Campinas (SP). At booth no. 36 of the event, the company showcases its entire portfolio aimed at the pet food segment.

Among the highlights are solutions produced in partnership with Nexira, a supplier of sustainable ingredients and actives derived from nature, such as Thixogum, a natural technological additive with neutral odor and taste, specially developed to offer thickening and stabilizing properties in a single ingredient; Fibregum, a source of soluble fiber considered a functional additive that stimulates the growth of beneficial organisms in the animal’s intestinal microbiome; and Instantgum, which enhances texturization, crunchiness, preservation, and shelf life extension of food products.

The company also exhibits at its booth Extratonina Pet, a natural extract of Yucca schidigera, free from added preservatives and carriers, rich in components that help reduce the odor of domestic animal feces – this solution is developed in collaboration with Desert King, a recognized manufacturer in this market. Other product lines in Concepta Ingredients’ portfolio include caramel colorants, emulsifiers, vegetable oils, and oleoresins.
