Concepta Ingredients Launches Butter and Organic Oil Line at Bio Brazil Fair | Biofach Latin America

São Paulo, May 2017 – A business unit of the Sabará Group specialized in natural and technological solutions for the food, beverage, animal nutrition, and veterinary pharmaceutical industries, Concepta Ingredients announces its entry into the food service market at Bio Brazil Fair | Biofach Latin America, the International Organic Products and Agroecology Fair. The event takes place from June 7 to 10 at the Bienal Pavilion of Ibirapuera, São Paulo.
“We have always operated with a focus on ‘B2B – Business to Business,’ but we have observed a market need among hotels, restaurants, and cafés (HORECA) for healthier and functional ingredients. Consumers are increasingly attentive, and our expertise of over 20 years working with natural and traceable products led us to develop these ingredients that are not only flavorful but also sustainable,” states Lilia Kawazoe, Commercial Manager of Concepta Ingredients.
At its booth number 82, located on Street 3, the company will showcase its new 100% organic product line. Initially, the launches include: organic Brazil nut oil, produced from the first pressing of a selection of the finest nuts, preserving their nutritional and functional properties; organic virgin coconut oil, extracted from fresh, newly harvested fruits from the Philippines, a region globally recognized for the quality of its coconut oil; and organic cupuaçu butter, unique in the market, providing an exclusive, exotic, and distinctive flavor to dishes.
The raw materials for these ingredients are harvested or collected by local communities in remote regions, who over generations have found in them a source of wealth and a way to keep the forest standing, remaining in their regions of origin, while also promoting female empowerment and childhood education.
The main reason for the company to showcase these innovations at Bio Brazil Fair | Biofach Latin America is the opportunity to present them to visitors. “A large portion of the fair’s attendees consists of industry professionals, retailers, restaurant owners, chefs, among others. This is the main business event for organic products in Brazil. We will demonstrate to participants that all ingredients are suitable for food use, such as in baked goods, desserts, seasonings, and dish finishing,” Kawazoe explains.
Concepta Ingredients’ new market strategy maintains its commitment to sustainability, present in all Sabará Group business units.
